The leadership of NEAP consists of a President (2-year term), a President-Elect (2-year term), a Secretary-Archivist (3-year term; may be re-elected to a maximum of 2 additional terms), and a Treasurer (3-year term; may be re-elected). Elections occur at annual meetings by a simple majority of members voting. The nomination of candidates for each office to be filled may be made prior to the annual meeting or may be made from the floor at the annual meeting.
