ABOUT ASP

The ASP is a diverse group of over 800 scientists from industry, government, and academia who are interested in the study and teaching of parasitology. Founded in 1924, ASP members have contributed not only to the development of parasitology as a discipline, but also to primary research in systematics, medicine, molecular biology, immunology, physiology, ecology, biochemistry, behavior, and more. The ASP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

...Dr. Justus F. Mueller designed the ASP seal. It was officially adopted at the 1959 annual meeting?

ASP members, as well as non-members, who attend the ASP meeting are invited to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations.

34nd Annual ASP Student Auction

100% of the proceeds of this live auction go to support student travel grants. In the past, this auction has generated between $5,000–$10,000. Auction items are often parasite-themed, member donated.
